The CEFR levels are used to show many different levels of language skills. They range from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Proficient), allowing students and teachers to evaluate and observe development. Here’s a quick summary of each level: A1: Beginner – The fundamental capacity to interact and exchange information. A2: Elementary – Can comprehend and use ordinary language. B1: Intermediate – Can write basic linked paragraphs and manage in most situations while travelling. B2: Upper Intermediate – Can write detailed material and communicate well. C1: Advanced – Can write coherent, well-structured material and engage fluently and spontaneously. C2: Proficient – Can grasp almost all they hear or read and express themselves freely and properly.
